Mounted Therapeutic Riding
A doctors release stating students are approved to ride is required before lessons or evaluation can take place.
Private Lessons are taught in 4 week sessions. Each session is $150.00 with payment due on the 1st of each month.
An initial assessment lesson and all paperwork (including a doctors release) is required for each new therapeutic rider before placement in lessons.
Lesson fees charged to TREAT clients accounts for a very small fraction of our operating budget. In an effort to make our services accessible to as many clients as possible, TREAT tuition is currently set at $37.50 per therapeutic riding lesson - this is much lower than the industry standard . The real cost for TREAT to run a lesson is over $50.00. We try to keep our fees low by subsidizing the actual costs through fundraising.
Sessions can be joined at anytime (as long as there is space available) and will be pro-rated to reflect the number of lessons
left in a session.
It is TREAT's philosophy to accept riders in the program regardless of financial means. Financial assistance is available for those who feel they cannot pay the full fee. Community Lessons
Beginning & Re-Entry English Riding Lessons
Private Lessons are taught in 4 week sessions. Each session is $200.00 with payment due on the 1st of each month. No doctors release is required for beginning or re-entry student riders. |
Senior Riding Lessons
Senior rides are offered as a one time lesson or as monthly sessions. Senior rides make a nice gift for those who are hard to find a meaningful gift for. We have a large mounting ramp to facilitate mounting and dismounting. $50.00 per lesson discounted to $160.00 for a monthly session. Seniors will require a doctors release approving them to ride. |
