Taylor Sandoval
Taylor is a certified therapeutic riding instructor through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl) and carries a Masters degree in Public Service and Administration with a focus on nonprofit management from Texas A&M, College Station. Her Bachelor's degree is in Psychology. Taylor has been riding horses since she was nine years old and began volunteering at a therapeutic riding center when she was twelve. Over her 20+ years of horse experience and 10 years of formal instructing, she has assisted individuals with special needs and disabilities from all walks of life, elderly and young, ambulatory and not, verbal and non. |
Barn/Maintenance Manager:
Bruce Pimental
After thirty years service in the United States Coast Guard, Bruce retired to Paris, Texas. He retired as a Senior Chief Petty Officer whose specialty was public affairs. His years in the Coast Guard allow him to bring many skills to our program, including organization, great communication, excellent marketing ideas, and a general knowledge of how to get things accomplished. He is the property owner, repairman, idea-man, community liaison and keeps everything in perfect running order. |
Executive Director & Path International Certified Instructor
Evelyn Walker
Evelyn is an Accountant with over forty years experience with both numbers and horses. As Executive Director she is responsible for program development and implementation, having the final word on all decisions relating to program operations. She has owned horses since she was six years old, and has an extensive knowledge of not only the costs of owning horses, but also what it takes to raise, train, care for them. She has taught beginning English riding lessons many years using gentle, caring and safe methods to accomplish the goals of each rider and she brings her invaluable accounting and office management knowledge to our program, |
